How can I send documents to you for quoting?

We can accept documents in almost any type of electronic format, but the most common are Word, PowerPoint and unlocked PDF.

Obviously, if you are unable to send electronically, then just send us the hard copy using good old Royal Mail.

What are your turnaround times?

We have turnarounds from 1 working day *, up to 15 working days. If you don’t require the documents urgently, then we offer extremely good discounts for a longer turnaround.

* Cut off times are applied for a same day turnaround.

How do you present Braille?

The normal presentation of Braille is embossed double-sided, comb bound, full colour front and back covers with a Braille title, but we can present the documents in whatever style you require.

For a simpler option, we can simply staple the documents.

I need a Podcast, is this something you can do?

Of course! Technology and our heavy investment in our studios means we are able to convert, present, upload, email, in fact do almost anything you require with your audio documents.

What are your payment terms?

Our payment terms are 30 days.

I need to send a mailing, how do I start?

Please phone one of our Accounts Team. They will talk you through what is needed.

We can produce a simple letter mailing in the required formats, or put together full sales packs with brochures, leaflets, and business reply envelopes.

All we need from you is the original documents and a database and we will do the rest.

You can rest assured that we are very experienced at large mailings, our largest was to over 150,000 recipients within a 5 working day period.

My customer has a “strange request”, can you help?

No request is too strange. We produce our large print, Braille and audio as standard formats, but we have many individual requests, of which a sample is below: 

  • Capital letters, bold, right aligned in 32 point
  • Blue paper, white text
  • Grade 1, with capitals, single sided Braille
  • French Accent on English Text
  • One word per A4 page

We believe that it is every individual’s right to have the format that they desire and need. We will always produce your information in the chosen format of your customer.

I have requests every day for alternative formats, are you able to deal with this?

Yes, that’s not a problem at all. Our Billings and Mailings service covers this. We work with utility companies, credit card companies, insurance companies and many more producing from 1 – 500+ statements / documents daily.

How do I know my work and sensitive information is going to be secure with you?

Our Quality, Security and Management Systems allow our clients to rest assured that all of their documents and client information is dealt with in a highly secure and safe manner.

Why do I need to produce alternative formats?

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) was introduced by the government to make sure that all individuals are treated equally, and within the Act it states that all information should be accessible to everyone.

On 1 October 2010, the DDA, along with a range of other anti-discrimination laws, was replaced by the Equality Act 2010 in England, Wales and Scotland. In Northern Ireland, the DDA is still the relevant legislation.
